How do Residents Perceive Tourism in Australia's South West?
Research on sustainable tourism is crucial for the long-term viability of the tourism industry and the well-being of local communities and the environment. To better understand how residents in the Australia’s South West tourism region feel about tourism in their home region, researchers at the Tourism Research Cluster at Curtin University annually conduct a survey on residents’ attitudes towards tourism in the region. The views of the residents in our shire are of critical importance to ensure sustainable tourism development.
The survey has been implemented in the region since 2020 and enquires about residents’ perceptions of tourism in the region. All information provided in the survey is securely stored. Participants have a chance to win one of 3 $100 Visa/MasterCard Gift Vouchers (3 separate winners will be drawn on 15 January 2024). The survey can be completed in 15 minutes and will open on 6 December 2023 and close on 31 December 2023.
