Sandakan Park

Sandakan Park is located on the corner of Cailes Road and Cowley Street in Boyup Brook.  The park has several areas including an All Ages and Abilities Play Space, Skate Park, Sandakan Memorial and a Baby Memorial area. Restroom facilities including disabled toilets are situated on the outside of the Town Hall near the Skate Park.

Unleash the fun at the All Ages and Abilities Play Space, a vibrant, inclusive destination that opened in June 2025 thanks to the generous support of Talison Lithium through their Community Investment Program (CIP).

This fully fenced wonderland is packed with excitement—featuring a towering 8-metre high play tower with three thrilling slides, a dedicated toddler zone, musical play areas, trampolines, and a huge variety of swings and equipment designed for everyone, including an abilities swing, wheelspin, and wayfinding signage.

Just beyond the playground, the adventure continues with a dual cableway (zip line)—one specially fitted with an abilities seat, a climbing boulder cluster, outdoor table tennis, and a picnic area complete with an accessible BBQ and shaded seating. A Ninja Warrior course, outdoor exercise equipment, and a fenced dog park complete the area, making this an action-packed hub for locals and visitors alike.
