General Hand (Plant Operator) - Casual Positions

Shire of Boyup Brook are seeking General Hands for our Works & Services Casual Pool. 

The Shire of Boyup Brook have a large number of strategic Capital Works Projects scheduled for the next two years and require casual General Hands (including Plant Operators) to assist the Works and Services team. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to work close to home, be part of a team environment and be involved with Community improvements. 

The position is responsible for operating trucks, plant and equipment and general labouring duties to assist the team to ensure the Works Program - road construction, drainage and road maintenance are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

The successful applicant will possess the following attributes:

  • Experience in operating large plant and equipment
  • Knowledge and understanding of health and safety relevant to work activities
  • Current White Card – Construction WA
  • Current Drivers Licence (HR and/or HC preferred)

This position is classified Level 4 and rate will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
