Council Meeting Highlights | 26 February 2026
At its February Ordinary Council Meeting, Council made a number of important decisions for the Boyup Brook community, including:
✔ approving the removal of four hazardous trees near the Administration Office and Town Hall to address safety and infrastructure concerns
✔ supporting the Boyup Brook Amateur Swimming Club in principle to pursue funding for a proposed future clubhouse
✔ adopting the Recreation Centre Development and Implementation Plan 2026 to guide staged future upgrades
✔ endorsing a revised lease-based model for Rylington Park to improve long-term sustainability
✔ lodging formal Council comments on the draft Renewable Energy Planning Code and proposed State planning changes.
