General Hand - Plant Operator | 9 Day Fortnight | Flexible Work Arrangements

The Shire of Boyup Brook is seeking a General Hand / Plant Operator to join our Works & Services team.
With a significant program of strategic capital works projects planned over the next two years, this is a great opportunity to join the Shire and contribute to the delivery and maintenance of important community infrastructure.
The role will involve operating trucks, plant and equipment and undertaking general labouring duties across road construction, maintenance and drainage works, as well as a variety of general maintenance activities supporting the Shire’s Works Program.
Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded; however, training and support can be provided for the right applicant.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience operating large plant and equipment (preferred but not essential)
- Knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety relevant to the role
- Sound communication skills
- Current White Card – Construction WA
- Current driver’s licence (HR and/or HC highly regarded)
- A positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team
