Pool Lifeguard

Join our team for the upcoming pool season!

The Shire of Boyup Brook is seeking enthusiastic, reliable and customer focused Pool Lifeguards to join our Community Services team.

Working under the direction of the Swimming Pool Manager, you will help provide a safe, clean and enjoyable environment for all pool patrons through active supervision, excellent customer service and prompt emergency response.

Pool Lifeguard qualification training for the right applicant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide active supervision of patrons and pool activities
  • Respond to emergencies and provide first aid where required
  • Promote safe pool practices and enforce facility rules
  • Assist with the cleanliness and presentation of the facility
  • Deliver friendly and professional customer service

Essential Requirements

  • Strong awareness of safety practices in an aquatic facility
  • Adequate swimming ability and physical fitness
  • Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Right to work in Australia.
