Join our Community Services team for the upcoming pool season!
The Shire of Boyup Brook is seeking a motivated and customer focused Swimming Pool Operator to assist in the safe, efficient and effective operation of the Boyup Brook Swimming Pool.
Working closely with the Swimming Pool Manager, you will help ensure the facility is safe, clean and welcoming, while providing excellent customer service to patrons and supervising lifeguards.
Pool Operator qualification training for the right applicant.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day operation of the swimming pool
- Supervise lifeguards and maintain safe pool operations
- Monitor water quality and facility presentation
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid where required
- Deliver high-quality customer service
- Promote safe pool practices and enforce facility rules
Essential Requirements
- Strong awareness of safety practices in an aquatic facility
- Adequate swimming ability and physical fitness
- Current Pool Operator's Certificate of Competency
- Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- Current Bronze Medallion
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current National Police Clearance
- Right to work in Australia
