MECHANIC - Full Time - Shared Resource

Are you a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic looking for variety, stability, and a welcoming lifestyle? This is a unique opportunity to join two supportive country communities in a shared role with the Shire of Boyup Brook and the Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring Council’s plant, equipment, heavy plant, motor vehicle fleet, light plant and Bush Fire Brigade appliances are maintained to an optimum operational standard.

Key Duties include

  • Undertaking and completing scheduled maintenance, servicing, repairs, and general fleet upkeep
  • Responding to breakdowns and carrying out diagnosis and repair of maintenance issues
  • Maintaining accurate records, including maintenance checklists, work orders, and service reports

Job Requirements

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity you will need to possess the following:

  • Extensive experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
  • Relevant Heavy Vehicle trade certificate
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
  • Positive and proactive approach to you work
  • A current and valid HC Western Australian Driver's License
