The Shire of Boyup Brook is seeking a reliable and motivated Transfer Station Attendant to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in providing great customer service and is committed to maintaining safe, clean and efficient waste management facilities.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Shire's Transfer Station, including:
- Assisting customers and providing friendly, responsive service.
- Receiving waste and recyclable materials and ensuring correct disposal.
- Maintaining accurate records.
- Monitoring the site to ensure it remains safe, clean and compliant.
- Assisting with general site presentation.
About You
You will be a dependable team player who enjoys working outdoors and has:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A strong commitment to workplace safety
- Good organisational and record keeping skills
- A current WA "C" Class Driver's Licence (essential)
