Statement from David Farleigh regarding Rylington Park
Following the Ordinary Council Meeting on Thursday 30 July 2026, the Shire of Boyup Brook is publishing a statement from David Farleigh, grandson of Eric Farleigh, regarding Rylington Park and the proposed future management model.
The proposed management model is designed to strengthen Rylington Park’s long-term sustainability, ensuring the property continues to deliver agricultural, education, research and community benefits while generating a more reliable income stream to support initiatives that benefit the Boyup Brook community.
This includes opportunities for agricultural research and training, community cropping, the Rylington Park Scholarship, local projects and practical use of existing Shire assets, including making suitable housing available in town for a healthcare worker.
Rylington Park will remain owned by the Shire of Boyup Brook.
