Shire President and Deputy Shire President

At tonight’s Council meeting, Cr Helen O’Connell was elected as the new Shire President, with Cr Darren King appointed as Deputy Shire President.

The Shire extends its sincere thanks to Richard Walker and Helen O’Connell for their outstanding leadership and commitment, and congratulates Cr Helen O’Connell and Cr Darren King as they step into their new roles. We wish you both every success and look forward to the positive contributions you’ll make as you represent and support our community.

We also extend a warm welcome to our new Council member Cr Philip Moore and returning member Cr Helen O’Connell as we commence working together in the term ahead. A heartfelt thank you is extended to outgoing Councillors Richard Walker, Philippe Kaltenrieder and Charles Caldwell for their service and dedication to the Shire.
