Rylington Park Scholarship Encouraging the Next Generation of Agricultural Leaders

Local students considering a future in agriculture are encouraged to start preparing for the Rylington Park Scholarship, with applications set to open in September.

Established by the original Rylington Park Management Committee Inc. and now proudly administered by the Shire of Boyup Brook, the scholarship continues to support the educational aspirations of local young people pursuing careers in the agricultural sector.

The scholarship reflects the vision of Eric Farleigh, whose commitment to agriculture and the Boyup Brook community inspired the creation of a program that invests in the district’s future. His vision was to provide opportunities for local students to gain valuable skills and knowledge that could one day be brought back to benefit the community.

Each year, the scholarship provides financial assistance to Year 10 students from Boyup Brook who have been accepted to attend an Agricultural College for Years 11 and 12.

The Shire encourages interested students and their families to review the scholarship information early and begin preparing their applications ahead of the September opening date.

Further information, including eligibility requirements and application details, are available in the Rylington Park Scholarship booklet HERE.
