LOCAL PLANNING SCHEME NO. 2
Notice is hereby given that the local government of the Shire of Boyup Brook has prepared the abovementioned planning scheme amendment for the purpose of:
- Rezoning Lots 51, 1007 and 1118 Boyup Brook – Arthur Road, Boyup Brook from the ‘Rural’ zone to the ‘Special Use (SU2)’ zone; and
- Inserting provisions in the scheme allowing for the consideration of ‘Residential’ (5 dwelling/hectare) and ‘Rural Residential’ land uses, subject to structure planning.
Plans and documents setting out and explaining the scheme amendment have been deposited at 55 Abel Street, Boyup Brook WA 6244 and can also be viewed by clicking HERE

Submissions on the planning scheme amendment may be lodged in writing with the undersigned on or before the 11 February 2025 and should include the amendment number, the name and address of the person making the submission and details of the property affected.
To ensure concerns and aspirations are understood and considered, Shire Officers are available to explain the scheme amendment and to answer questions (Contact: Adrian Nicoll 0408 777 010 [email protected]). The Shire proposes to ensure that concerns and aspirations are directly reflected in a schedule of submissions, which is presented to the Shire Council and the Western Australian Planning Commission.
