Community Notice – Community Grants Program on Hold
The Shire of Boyup Brook wishes to advise the community that the 2026 Community Grants Program has been placed on hold until further notice.
This decision has been made due to the ongoing issue regarding the Forest Products Commission (FPC) rates being paid to Treasury and not currently being passed on to the Shire. As this matter remains unresolved, it has created uncertainty around available funding for community programs and initiatives.
We understand how important the Community Grants Program is to our local community groups and volunteers, and this was not a decision made lightly. The Shire remains committed to supporting our community and will review the program as soon as there is greater clarity around the financial situation.
