Community Award Nominations Now Open
The Shire of Boyup Brook is pleased to invite nominations for the 2027 Shire of Boyup Brook Community Awards.
Since 1985, the Community Awards have celebrated the remarkable individuals who make a positive difference through their dedication, achievements and service to our community. These awards provide an opportunity to recognise those whose efforts often go unnoticed but have had a lasting impact on the lives of others.
Nominations are now open for the following award categories:
- Citizen of the Year
- Kevin Henderson Memorial Award – Volunteer Award
- Young Achiever of the Year
- Sports Person of the Year
If you know someone who has shown outstanding commitment to the community, inspired others through their leadership or volunteer work, achieved excellence in sport, or made a significant contribution to life in Boyup Brook, we encourage you to submit a nomination.
Nominations close at 4.00pm on Friday, 6 November 2026.
Nomination forms and the Community Awards Guidelines can be found HERE, with hard copies also available from the Shire Administration Office.
Award recipients will be announced at the Shire of Boyup Brook's Australia Day Breakfast in January 2027. We encourage all community members to take this opportunity to recognise the people who make our Shire a wonderful place to live, work and volunteer.
