Boyup Brook Evacuation and Recreation Centre Project Update

The Boyup Brook Evacuation and Recreation Centre project continues to make great progress, with major external construction works now complete and work moving inside the building.

The roof trusses, roof sheeting and external brickwork are all complete, along with the internal framing. These milestones mark another exciting step towards bringing this important community facility to life.

Gyprock has now arrived on site, and preparations for the internal services are underway. This will allow work to progress to the internal wall linings and fit-out as the building continues to take shape.

The Shire continues to work closely with Barna Construction and the project consultants, with regular site inspections helping to keep the project moving forward.

Once complete, the facility will provide modern, flexible spaces for local sporting clubs and community groups, as well as an important base for emergency response when needed.

It’s exciting to see the project progressing, bringing the Boyup Brook community one step closer to having a versatile facility that will support local groups and play an important role in the community for years to come.
