Farm Working Manager – Rylington Park
A unique opportunity to manage an operational farm, events and educational facility (Rylington Park Institute for Agricultural Training and Research), with the support of the Rylington Park Committee.
About Rylington Park
Rylington Park is 650Ha property, gifted to the Shire of Boyup Brook in 1985 by the late Mr Eric Farleigh, for research and training in agriculture and to benefit the community.
About the Role
This position is responsible for managing annual cropping and livestock programs using sustainable farming practices, coordinating events ,developing and implementing agricultural research and training in accordance with the Rylington Park Charter, and developing innovative ways for local government and communities to work together.
About You:
- proven management, and collaboration skills
- high level of initiative and strong communication abilities
- highly organised with a strong agricultural background
- knowledge of medical practices will be highly regarded but not essential
Remuneration
Position is Level 7 classification of the Local Government Industry Award 2020 (State), flexible hours with salary based on qualifications and experience.
