ASSETS & TECHNICAL OFFICER – Full Time
The Shire of Boyup Brook is offering the opportunity for a suitably qualified and self-motivated individual to join our Works & Services team in the role of Assets & Technical Officer.
This role provides technical services for civil infrastructure assets to the Manager Works & Services and support in the delivery of grant funded and strategic capital works projects.
The successful applicant will possess the following attributes;
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Civil Engineering, Surveying or similar), or working towards and/or a minimum of two years practical experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of civil/municipal engineering design and construction techniques
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret construction standards and plans
- Working knowledge of Work Health & Safety and Equal Employment Opportunity
- Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously in line with Councils Values to achieve best outcomes throughout the Shire of Boyup Brook
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Current White Card – Construction WA
- Current Drivers Licence
Salary will be dependent upon qualifications and experience. Potential applicants are encouraged to apply if they do not have the necessary qualifications.
