The Shire has been successful in receiving a grant to complete upgrades to the airstrip. The grant will cover essential maintenance works on the airstrip ensuring it remains usable and safe for future years.
The airstrip is now closed while works take place and is scheduled to re-open in mid May 2025. All emergency services and appropriate departments have been advised of the closure while work takes place.
This project is funded by the Department of Transport, Infrastructure and Regional Development, and the Shire of Boyup Brook.
