Ward and Council Representation Review
The Shire of Boyup Brook is conducting a review of its Wards and Council Representation and invites public participation in this review.
The Minister for Local Government has instructed that all wards will be abolished, and the number of Elected Members will all be reduced to 5 or 7 Councillors.
A discussion paper outlining the options for consideration is available for inspection from the Administration Office at 55 Abel Street, Boyup Brook during normal office hours, and from the Shire’s web site.
Public submissions are invited and must be submitted to the Shire of Boyup Brook by 4.30pm, 21st December 2022 to: Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Boyup Brook, PO Box 2, Boyup Brook WA 6244; or by email to shire@boyupbrook.wa.gov.au
