Communications Within the Boyup Brook Shire

Public internet access, fax facilities and Westlink Satellite Services are available through the Boyup Brook Community Resource Centre. The region is well serviced by Telstra’s 3G mobile phone network.

Australia Post provides a daily mail delivery service to post office boxes and in the township of Boyup Brook through the Boyup Brook post office. Other mail delivery services are provided by a Roadside Mail Boxes service with deliveries each Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

The Bushfire Radio channel is used for emergency communications.

ISDN and ADSL Broadband are available in the Boyup Brook town site.

Television and Radio

AM and FM radio stations and a numerous digital television channels are available in Boyup Brook provided you have the right technology to access them. Television ABC Regional Network, SBS, the Golden West Network (GWN7) and Win Television are a few of the digital television channels available. Radio ABC, Hot FM, FM 94.1 Triple J and 97.5 FM are available on radio. Foxtel is also available.

Newspapers

Two local newspapers are available in addition to the major metropolitan and national newspapers. These are the Manjimup-Bridgetown Times and the Donnybrook-Bridgetown Mail. The Boyup Gazette is a monthly newsletter produced locally by the Boyup Brook Community Resource Centre.
