WALK ON THE WILDSIDE (WOW) FRI 6 & SAT 7 OCTOBER 2023 On the weekend of the 6th and 7th of October, it will be the fourth year Boyup Brook’s Walk on the Wildside has been operating. The official opening of WOW will be held Friday 6 October at the Boyup Brook Visitor Centre from 4.00 – 5.30pm and the presentation of photography awards will take place at the Boyup Brook CRC from 5.30pm to 6.30pm. Featuring collections galore, many unique and treasured collections will be on display over the two day event. Some of which include the Keith Carnaby beetles and butterflies, Kradal dolls and Ivan Carnaby bird eggs at the Visitor Centre. Along with our Blooming Wildflower tour (Friday 6 October) and Art on Abel there sure will be something for everyone. Saturday 7 October is the big day for everything that shines, roars and is old. There will be heritage walk tours in the morning where you’ll be left fascinated about all the local history. Buses will take groups to tour the Museum, Flax mill and the popular Harvey Dickson's Country Music Centre. You won’t want to miss it after lunch when locals rev up their classic and vintage vehicles and do a lap of town. All tours will require booking so head to our website www.boyupbrooktourism.com.au where you’ll find an online booking form. Alternatively, over the counter bookings will be available at the Boyup Brook Visitor Centre.
