LOCAL PLANNING SCHEME NO. 2

 

Notice is hereby given that the local government of the Shire of Boyup Brook has prepared the above-mentioned planning scheme amendment for the purpose of:

Altering various parts of the Local Planning Scheme No. 2 text and mapping to transfer the ‘Commercial’ zone classification to the ‘Town Centre’ zone classification.

Plans and documents setting out and explaining the scheme amendment is available at the Administration Office at 55 Abel Street, Boyup Brook and can also be viewed by clicking on the link Local Planning Scheme Amendment No. 22

  • Rezoning Lot 1 Forrest Street and Lot 35 Barron Street, from the ‘Residential’ zone classification, to the ‘Town Centre’ zone classification.

Plans and documents setting out and explaining the scheme amendment have been deposited at 55 Abel Street, Boyup Brook and can also be viewed on the Shire’s website at www.boyupbrook.wa.gov.au

Submissions on the planning scheme amendment may be lodged in writing with the undersigned on or before the 4  October 2022 and should include the amendment number, the name and address of the person making the submission and details of the property affected.

To ensure concerns and aspirations are understood and considered, Shire Officers are available to explain the scheme amendment and to answer questions (Contact: Adrian Nicoll 0408 777 010 anicoll@plancreate.com.au). The Shire propose to ensure that concerns and aspirations are directly reflected in a schedule of submissions, which is presented to the Shire Council and the Western Australian Planning Commission.
