Weekly Information & Seniors Exercise (WISE)

What is WISE?

WISE is a new weekly one hour class that focuses on healthy mind and active body in a fun and social atmosphere for people 55+. This class has been made possible with thanks to a grant from the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries and is proudly supported by the CRC and the Shire of Boyup Brook.

In February sessions run every Tuesday 10am - 11am in the Boyup Brook Town Hall and cost $5.

WISE timetable change from March onwards

Please note there is a change in the WISE timetable after February. Jodi will still run the movement classes every first and third Tuesday of the month at 10am . Susan the new nurse practitioner will run the Healthy Mind information sessions every second and fourth Thursday at 1pm from March onwards.

What is on in March?

Tuesday 5 March 10am     Low impact exercise class with a focus on balance, flexibility and strength. Sessions will include individual and group activities in a fun and relaxed environment.
Thursday 14 March 1pm Healthy Eating and Label Reading - Quick tips to make shopping for healthy foods a whole lot easier.
Tuesday 19 February 10am Low impact exercise class with a focus on balance, flexibility and strength. Sessions will include individual and group activities in a fun and relaxed environment.
Thursday 28 March 1pm
Eye Health - Learn what to look out for as you get older and how to keep an eye on your eye health.
