Disability Access and Inclusion Plan

DAIP

The Shire of Boyup Brook’s Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2018-2023 (DAIP) provides a planned approach to improving physical access to services and facilities, as well as incorporating inclusion at a participatory and service level.

The Plan reflects a commitment by the Shire to make Boyup Brook an inclusive and accessible community, where residents and visitors with disabilities alike, their families and carers, are provided with the same rights and responsibilities as other people.

The Western Australian Disability Services Act (1993) requires that local governments develop a DAIP in accordance with the format prescribed in the Act and subsidiary regulations. The Shire’s DAIP has been prepared in accordance with these requirements.

For more information read the DAIP document available from the Quick Links "Document Centre" and search under "Disability Access and Inclusion Plan".

We continue to rely on the community’s feedback about our services and facilities and welcome comment on our progress.

The Shire of Boyup Brook is committed to assisting all community members and visitors to our shire.
