Boyup Brook - Camping & Picnic Sites

Camping Sites

QUERIJUP POOL - good camping. Track leads off north-east down to a quiet crossing on Scotts Brook. Many native birds and kangaroos. Near Norlup homestead and Scotts Brook vineyard.

 

ASPLIN SIDING - good camping. Also suitable for caravans. Tracks lead down to the river. Good cobbler fishing. Tracks may be wet in winter - check before proceeding.

 

MULLIDUP POOL - (Tone River) Suitable for caravans. Top camping site, but could be damp after rain. Large number of sites. Spider orchids on south side of road and west of bridge.

 

TONE BRIDGE - overnight stop or picnic area. BBQ, shelters and toilet by river.

 

TRIGWELLS BRIDGE - suitable for caravans, close to road. Overnight stop or picnic. On north side of river and west side of bridge, by old bridge. Flat area - shelter under bridge.

Picnic Sites

WILLINARRUP - Track needs upgrading for easier access. Nice flat area by river - cobbler fishing. 3km from Boyup Brook.

 

SANDAKAN PARK - Free electric BBQ facilities;  gazebos; small playground area; skateboard park; toilets. Natural flora based right in the middle of town. Sandakan Memorial to those who lost their lives in Borneo.

LIONS/TOURISM PARK - provided by the Lions Club of Boyup Brook and the Boyup Brook Tourism Association. Natural bushland setting. Toilet and night lighting. Can take up the walk trail around town from this point.

 

NEWLGALUP - Right hand side of Boyup Brook/Dinninup Road west of Newlgalup Road, about 7kms out of Boyup on river side.

 

EULIN CROSSING - Reserve. Nice flat area by river - boat launch ramp – large pool 6km long and very wide in some places. Water birds. Very popular spot. Probably not large enough for camping,, but excellent for a picnic.

 

CONDINUP RESERVE - Track leads off West Arthur Road 500 metres north of Condinup Road. Track near boundary. Easy to miss - great display of orchids in season.
